I haven't blogged in a week or sometime around that, and even if no one is reading this, I need to keep up because this is serving as my journal this summer. So, in this update, I'm going to try and cover a lot of what I've been meaning to blog about, but just haven't gotten around to writing.
Okay, so here's an outline of where we've been in these two weeks:
First, we started off in Paris, where we met up with my Dad, his co-worker and their students. Then, we flew to Copenhagen, just for vacation, and it was really cool!
After we had been Copenhagen for three days, we took the train to Bisserup, a small fishing city south - west of Copenhagen on the coast. We were only there one day, but it's officially my favorite European city. This was because we met up with the parents of my mom's friend from work at the Student Counseling Center. They were really really nice and hospitable, and it was because of them that we had such a wonderful time in Bisserup. (I'll elaborate more later in this post or in a later one.) From Bisserup, we went to Prague, where I am right now! Prague is a really neat city, but we leave tomorrow for.....Pilsen! I can't believe that it's already the beginning of IMAP! It sneaked up REALLY quickly, but maybe that's a sign that we were having fun?
So, I think that I will end this post right now and put the elaborations in following posts covering, in this order (: Paris, Copenhagen, Bisserup, Prague, Europe's general differences from America, and finally a slide show of moats that are bigger than Mr. Perry's classroom.
